Refresh Project
Columbus Zoo | Columbus, OH
Out with the old and in with the refurbished at the Columbus Zoo and Aquarium.
The scope of the project was to refresh the two monument signs at the entrance points to the Columbus Zoo and Aquarium and ZoomBezi Bay. The structures that were installed in 2008 were in need of a major refurbishment, as well as eliminating the digital components.
As the digital elements were removed, opportunities to rethink the sponsorship panels were identified. More of the colorful silhouette characters were added to both the signs and within the sweeping landscape. The refreshed signs are now in place to welcome the 2 million guests that visit each year.
