Preservation & Protection
Location: Columbus, OH
The outdoor dining patio at Doctor’s Hospital was aged and needed a design to invigorate the space with not only dining opportunities, but also a space for respite. Located directly off of the dining cafeteria, this space provides outdoor eating space as well as an escape to green space under a massive 36” caliper American Sycamore. This tree was preserved and protected, and creates delightful dappled shade, while sections of green screen with vines provide strategic screening while avoiding underground utilities.
Promotional material was generated for the Foundation for fund raising purposes, construction should begin mid 2020.
